Dare was born in Santa Barbara, California and has resided there ever since, with the exception of 4 years at Brown University. He has a 12 year-old daughter and is married to Natalie Holdren. When he isn't collecting cards, Dare can usually be found at San Marcos High School, where he has been the principal for 4 years. Unfair Trade: Dare on Cards, Volume 1

Back in the day, if your card had pretty good corners and no creases, it was considered mint and exchanged appropriately. Centering wasn't a thing. The surface only mattered if you had drawn a mustache on the player or if it had a gum stain.
